What you will be doing We encourage applications from an experienced Psychologist who wish to work in an environment where they will receive one on one and group supervision and an abundance of professional opportunities that support a rich learning environment. The successful applicant will predominantly work with children who are funded under a mix of NDIS, and public state and other federal health funding.Operate a paediatric psychology service within multi and transdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of centre based and outreach services to all eligible clientsAssess, plan and provide interventions for a caseload of pre-school and school aged childrenInitiate, plan, implement and evaluate group therapy programs for children as appropriateParticipate in client care meetings and department meetings for the purposes of team care planning, case conferencing and client reviewIn collaboration with other AccessHC Child & Family service staff and management, review the content of individual & group programs and make service changes based on the outcome of these reviews What you will bringThe skills and experience you will bring to this role as the successful candidate you will have: Key Selection CriteriaDemonstrated knowledge of typical and atypical childhood development in order to understand the child’s developmental delay or disability.Demonstrated skills in psychology assessment and intervention, based on current evidenced-based practice to ensure positive outcomes for the child and family.Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience in planning and delivering group therapy programsA passion to deliver an exceptional customer service engagement with all customerAccess Health and Community Culture & BenefitsAt Access Health and Community, we offer more than just a fulfilling career: - we provide an environment where you can thrive in a culture of collaboration and support.
