We value our people and take pride in having created a collaborative, respectful, and engaging team culture.We are seeking experienced and motivated Medical Receptionists for a Victorian State Funded Respiratory Clinic located at Ashburton. ResponsibilitiesConduct daily opening and closing proceduresRegister new patients attending the respiratory clinic and maintain/update all records pertaining to the clients.Create, cancel or reschedule appointments for clientsRespond to queries by phone, email, or face to face and assist clients with wayfindingProvide patients with a surgical maskClean areas that have received patient contactProvide information about the respiratory clinic and other services and activities offered at other sitesMaintain areas of the site to ensure they are kept clean and tidyPrepare consultation rooms for the proceeding dayGeneral administrations such as photocopying, filing, scanning, emailing etc.Process claims through MedicareAssist clinical lead, Nursing team and support General PractitionersComplete a daily wrap up of duties. Skills and ExperienceSound knowledge of infection control principles including PPEConfident with customer service and dealing with the public face to faceAbility to multitask and prioritise on the flyPrevious experience working in a medical practiceHave a high level of energy, enthusiasm and flexibility, along with a commitment to team workDemonstrated ability to work independently while managing a range of tasksWillingness to learn and adapt in a changing environmentSee position description for full list Desirable CriteriaKnowledge of Medical Director Clinical and Pracsoft, Microsoft Office Suite, HICAPS, and/or other relevant software applicationsProficiency in a community languageAbility to be available at short notice Mandatory CriteriaMust follow current Access HC COVIDSafe plan, infection control procedure, wear full PPE and be fully vaccinated.
