With caring at our centre, our mission is to build healthier lives within our communities and deliver excellent health and community services for all. We have over 300 employees and 200 volunteers who are part of our team, operating in over 17 locations across Melbourne. The opportunityUse your expertise and passion for communication and making a difference to help transform AccessHC and improve the lives of our communities into the future.We have created a new specialist role in the communications team to support the communication and delivery of the new AccessHC strategic plan and transformation projects.The hands-on role will be responsible for developing and implementing communications that engage, excite, inform and educate AccessHC workers as the organisation embarks on its strategy for 2022-25 to build healthier lives together.The part time position (0.8) is initially for a fixed term until 30 June 2023 with the potential to become an ongoing position. Responsibilities Together with the Communications Manager and strategy delivery team, develop communications to support the delivery of the strategic plan and transformation projects.Create impactful and engaging communications that create awareness and desire for change, build relationships and engagement and celebrate successes.Work collaboratively with the communications, people and culture and strategy delivery teams and internal stakeholders.Create content for a range of internal audiences and channels.Provide regular reports on the impact of communications activities.General support for the communications team, including writing and editing, content planning and creation and design. What you will bring (selection criteria)Ability to demonstrate and display AccessHC’s values – equity, collaboration, respect, innovation and quality.Demonstrated passion for internal communications and desire to work for an organisation that makes a difference.Excellent communication, writing and editing abilities.Ability to create high quality messaging and content for a range of audiences and channels with great attention to detail.  Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.A team player with demonstrated experience building strong stakeholder relationships.Demonstrated experience in a similar strategic, internal or change communications role. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related discipline.Experience in the health and community sector would be beneficial but not essential. AccessHC Culture & BenefitsThe base salary for this position is $85,000 pro rata at 0.8, plus 10.5% superannuation. AccessHC offers access to generous salary packaging benefits that reduces tax payable on income.
