The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Dental Assistants to join our Dental Team at Access Health & Community – Ashburton. You will have the ability to contribute to the provision of high quality, efficient and effective dental health care to eligible clients, through clinical support activities. A high level of knowledge and skills in undertaking duties with best practice and infection control standards is essential.
About the role
The AccessHC dental program provides community based dental care to all children under 12 yrs of age, Adult concession card holders and their dependants (under 18 years). In addition, we offer a range of private services to our eligible & non-eligible clients who wish to access our private clinic.
You would be part of a multidisciplinary dental team comprising of dentists, dental therapists, oral health therapists, dental prosthetists, oral health educators and dental assistants.
A high level of experience, knowledge and skills is required in providing chairside assistance and a range of dental procedures. We offer the flexibility for these positions to be full time or part time roles.
