Hours are mainly Monday-Friday 9am - 4:30pm. Our qualified staff provide individualised care and support to assist each of our clients (and their carers) to stay active, connected, involved and independent at home. This casual role offers 15 flexible hours across the week.As a casual Support Worker, you will actively support your regular clients (aged 65 and over) to remain living independently at home and engaging with them in social activities 1:1 and at times within a group setting at our day centre. You will assist clients their basic personal care needs. You will also provide social support including taking clients on outings to the shops, the bank, a café or, out for a walk.You will be required to travel across the council areas of the City of Manningham.We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants. We are seeking male and female support workers and the following languages are desirable: Greek, Italian, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka.What you will be doing Deliver a high standard of in-home and/or centre-based support to clients.
