The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Paediatric Registered Psychologist, Grade 2 to join our highly regarded Child and Family Services team at Access Health and Community. This role is ideal for a registered psychologist with experience in paediatric psychology, child development, developmental disability, behavioural support, early intervention and family-centred care.
You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based psychology services to pre-school and school age children funded through NDIS, Community Health, HACC and early intervention programs. This position offers the opportunity to provide assessment, intervention, consultation and capacity-building services across clinic, community, outreach and telehealth settings while supporting children and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.
You’ll be part of a close-knit and supportive team including over 40 paediatric allied health professionals with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, best-practice services to pre-school and school-aged children and their families within the communities in the Eastern and Outer Eastern suburbs.
This is a permanent part time 0.6 EFT position which is based at our Doncaster site and reporting to the Manager, Child & Family Services.
About the Role
The Paediatric Psychologist is responsible for delivering high-quality assessment, intervention and consultation services to children and families across a range of developmental, behavioural, emotional and disability presentations.
Working within AccessHC's integrated Child and Family Services model and the social model of health, you will partner with families, educators, health professionals and community supports to deliver child-focused, strength-based and evidence-informed services.
