The opportunityWe are inviting expressions of interest for a values-driven Board Director to join our Board who is committed to enhancing community health and wellbeing. This key appointment includes membership on our Audit and Risk Committee, offering a unique opportunity to help shape the strategic direction, financial sustainability, and risk oversight of AccessHC. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to social impact. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of commercial and governance expertise and proven financial literacy. They will also have the ability to interpret complex financial information, experience in risk management, oversight, and strategic direction, and the capacity to contribute to informed, transparent decision-making.In addition to technical skills, we value purpose-led leadership. You will be a collaborative, engaged Board contributor who is assured in constructively challenging ideas, and who communicates with influence to support robust discussions and effective governance. You will also have some understanding of the constraints and opportunities facing non-profit organisations and be able to pragmatically tailor your input to fit our growing organisation. Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and strategic advocacy will be highly regarded.
